$7,300 to fund Virtual Field Trips for all seven grade levels, giving students unique experiences like science workshops, music technology, magic shows and more.

$13,000 on new Classroom & School Equipment that will benefit all Lester students, including more flexible seating for every grade level, new library display shelving, materials for staff, AND our very own Lester Leopard mascot! 

​

$1,000 to wrap up the school year with an exciting All-School Assembly featuring BMX Biker Matt Wilhelm, whose stunts and messages teach kids about perseverance, kindness, and resilience.

​

$4,700 to bring back a favorite tradition: Field Day! This year’s event also included an All-School Fun Lunch and a Kona Ice Truck visit for each student, funded by the PTA. 

​

$2,000 on in-school and after-school enrichment activities like Science Olympiad, Family Reading Night, FitBoys and FitGirls, Art Awareness, and Summer Math Club - all of which the PTA was thrilled to bring back. 

​

PTA hosted revenue-neutral events including the Mother-Son Bowling Night and the Daddy-Daughter Dance, creating special memories for Lester students and families.

​

$1,500 to send off our 6th Graders with an epic “Level UP!” party, capping off their time at Lester with an afternoon to remember with friends and classmates.

​

$6,400 to provide every teacher with $200 in Classroom Funds to support needs like student chair organizers, sensory boards, math games, student incentives and other classroom needs. 

​

$4,600 on year-long Teacher & Staff appreciation efforts, which included catered meals and snacks during Parent-Teacher conferences, celebrating winter holidays, welcoming teachers back from Spring Break, and a week of themed food and fun for Teacher Appreciation Week. 

​

$4,000 for College Scholarships granted to four Lester alumni to continue their education - for which the foundation was laid at Lester. 

​

$2,700 on Playground Maintenance and Lester Gardens, keeping our two inclusive playgrounds safe and our school grounds looking great. 

​

$8,000 for PTA Administrative Expenses including state and local PTA dues, insurance, fees for fundraising and fun lunch websites fees, supplies, and other general administrative costs.

​

The PTA also facilitated a $7,598 donation from Covid-canceled Fun Lunch funds from Lester families who chose to support Blessings in a Backpack, which provides food on the weekends for children in District 58 who might otherwise go hungry.
